Programs


SEAD Foundation works with marginalized communities in any part of Sindh; however primarily it has selected most under privileged and poor Districts of the Sindh Province.


One Room Shelter Program (ORS)

In collaboration with International Organization for Migration (IOM), ORS Program has been launched in three districts of province of Sindh. The flood affected vulnerable families of 2011 and 2012 floods are given One Room mud/mud brick constructed shelters.

Support for the Rehabilitation of the Floods Affected Families of 2010-11 and 2022

In partnership with OPP/RTI –MISEROR Roof support has been provided to 700 flood affected families in district Badin. The project is still in progress and around 400 more households will be covered by April 2015


Flood 2022 Response

In collaboration with International Organization for Migration (IOM), SEAD Foundation has distributed Shelter/NFI Kits to 500 flood affected families in UC Dehi Jerkus District Badin.
In addition, SEAD Foundation has been covering following areas of Sindh Province, Pakistan, in response to Flood 2022 natural disaster

Also, SEAD Foundation has organized 53 mobile health camps in Kambar-Shahdadkot district.


Low Cost Housing Units

In collaboration with Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Housing Cell (SBBHC) Govt. of Sindh, Low Cost Housing Program has been inititiated in multiple districts of Sindh, as shown in folliwng table.

Interest Free Loan for Farming Families

With the support of OPP/OCT interest free loan was given to 50 flood affected farmers in district Badin. The loan was used for purchasing agricultural inputs. All the beneficiaries successfully returned loan amount within the stipulated time period


Interest Free Loan for Micro Enterprise

With the support of OPP/OCT interest free loan was given to 22 flood affected families for developing small enterprise under Enterprise Development Program. Out of 22 beneficiaries 18 have successfully developed small enterprise while all have returned the loan amount with given time period.
